There’s been much debate on the Moodle Forums lately about what the perfect editor is. One that allows you to bold, emphasize, underline, align, or list your content, without adding colour controls seems to be the most popular. We’ve created one that does just that, but for some reason, people still aren’t happy about it. Well, when I say people, it seems to be just one. He’s being a bit of a troll and ignores everything we say that is positive about the system we have developed, and keeps pointing out the flaws in the old system. I don’t really understand what his motivation is for this.
In the mean time though, if you use Moodle, it’s worth checking out the new editor that is being included in 2.6 – Atto is a simplified editor with an emphasis on accessibility.
