Frontend Dev @ Moodle

So Moodle has recently re-organised the development teams in to Frontend and Backend. These aren’t the traditional Front vs Back teams. We have our own definition, where Frontend is everything (not just the code, but the components and areas) a user encounters, while Backend is anything a developer would use to build something that is user facing.

I was placed on the Frontend team, and have been enjoying it immensely already.

We’ve just started working on our first sprint in the new teams, and I am looking forward to seeing some awesome changes coming out of the planning we have been doing for the past month or so. These changes include a new interface for navigation and user preferences on small screen devices, and better file picker for mobiles.
